Introducing the G-Node
The SOWNet G-Node G301 Wireless Sensor Node, or G-Node in short, is a new Wireless Sensor Network development platform based on L-Nodes technology developed by SOWNet Technologies in collaboration with the Technical University of Delft.
Top features
Microcontroller
The
Texas Instruments MSP430F2418 microcontroller supplies all the
processing power and memory you need for your Wireless Sensor Network
applications.
Radio

A versatile CC1101 radio chip from Texas Instruments allows
the G-Node to shine in dense multi-hop deployments. This makes it
possible to do large scale experiments in limited physical space.
Packet radio with receiver sensitivity down to -112dBm Variable data rates from 0.8kbps up to 500kbps supported Variable transmission power from -30dBm up to +10dBm Antenna with decent range on-board
Interfacing
Finally,
it is easy to interface the G-Node with existing
sensors and other equipment having several different interfacing
options available.
8 I/O pins for external connectivity SPI/I2C, UART, interrupt and ADC functions available 3V power supply up to 70mA strong can power most sensors
